Love those Hearts!

Brrrrrrrrr it's COLD outside!  I don't know about where you are, but today in the Chicagoland area it is COLD!  The sun is shining so it looks like it should be nice out but as the saying goes, "Looks can be deceiving!"

Oh well, it's the perfect weather to stay inside and craft. This week's Dreamweaver Thursday theme is "Hearts and Love!", and the Stampendous Design Team is sharing some of the beautiful heart designs in our stencil line. They make lovely wedding cards and are perfect for Valentine's Day which will be here before we know it! This gorgeous Swirly Heart (DWLJ928) stencil looks wonderful in any color.

Neenah Papers Classic Crest Natural Cover 80#
Copic B72 Ice Ocean
Double-sided tape

Instructions

Step 1:  Fold a 4 1/4" x 11" Teal cardstock in half to form an A2 top-fold card

Step 2:  Edge a 4" x 5 1/2" piece of patterned cardstock with a matching marker and tape to the front of the card

Step 3:  Tape a 2 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Teal cardstock to a 2 3/8" x 5 1/2" piece of Natural cardstock then to the front center of the card

Step 4:  Paste emboss the Swirly Heart stencil on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Natural cardstock with Pearlescent Embossing Paste using a Palette Knife and Paste Spreader, remove stencil and place in water for cleaning

Step 5:  Sprinkle the wet paste with Teal Micro Glitter, tap off extra, let paste dry

Step 6:  When the paste is dry, measure in 1 1/8" on each side of the long sides and make a mark along both the top and bottom edges

Step 7:  Connect the top and bottom marks lightly with a pencil, stopping when it reaches the paste and restarting on the other side of the paste

Step 8:  Cut along the left line with a scissors and then around the design to the other left line, repeat on the right side

Step 9:  Mount the cut out image on the teal mat in the center of the card
