Collecting Seashells!

The Stampendous Design Team has more great summertime ideas for you this week. We are sharing samples made using the Beach Embossing Kit, EK22, from Stampendous!

This is a card I created for a Lunch Card Club group that I belong to. Each month we have a theme, technique or card layout we all use to create 8 of the same card to exchange with the group.  It is a fun card fold idea and was perfect with our beautiful new seashell stamps and dies.
"Friends are like seashells..."

Stampendous:

Plus:
My Colors Cardstock - Pale Aqua
Bazzill - Dk Aqua
Graphic 45 papers Voyage Beneath the Sea collection
VersaMark
Copic Sketch Markers
Cork paper
Die Cut Machine
Removable tape
Craft Glue Dots

Instructions:
Step 1:  Cut a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Pale Aqua cardstock, score along long edge at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2" , accordion fold on score lines
Step 2:  Cut a 1" x 11" piece of Dark Aqua, score along long edge at 5 1/2" and 8 1/4", fold on score lines
Step 3: Stamp a variety of seashells and coral on different Graphic 45 paper, color with markers to enhance colors, stamp saying of choice
Step 4:  Use the matching dies to cut out the shells and coral, use fitted frames to cut the saying and a dark aqua mat
Step 5: Cut a 2 1/2" x 4" piece of decorative paper, edge with matching marker and adhere to the small left flap of the card front
Step 6:  Adhere the Dark Aqua strip across the card about 3/4" up from the bottom, make sure the 5 1/2" side is on the left side  (so it folds opposite of the base card)
Step 7:  Arrange the shells and coral on the small left flap over the decorative paper, use foam tap on some for more dimension
Step 8:  Adhere a strip of cork along the front of the dark aqua strip and alont the bottom edge of the inside of the card
Step 9: Pat the cork with VersaMark, sprinkle with Golden Sand embossing powder, tap off extra, heat set
Step 10: Add the saying to the right side of the card
