Garden Home!

May is finishing up and June starts tomoorow. Summer is finally here! The Stampendous Design Team has been sharing some of our "beachy" images the last few weeks, and this week the theme continues with "Yo, ho, Yo ho..." to finish off that fun theme.  I am so lucky to design samples for such a generous company that provides these great images to me!

Today my design is stretching the theme a little bit, ok, a LOT, but that's what keeps things interesting! Imagine Tinkerbell, or one of her little fairy friends living in this adorable Garden Home (W164). I can just see them flitting around this little garden.

Instructions

Step 1:  Fold a 6" x 9 1/4" piece of olive cardstock in half to form an A6 top fold card

Step 2:  Place one of the background patterns from the Industrial set on an acrylic handle, use Memento Rich Cocoa to ink the stamp and stamp on card front, repeat inking and stamping until the card front is completely stamped

Step 3:  Use the same stamp and ink to stamp a 4" x 4 7/8"  and a 1 3/4" x 2 1/4" piece of red cardstock

Step 4:  Stamp the Garden Home on a 3 3/4" x 4 5/8" piece of Mixed Media White Paper with Memento Tuxedo Black and color with Copic markers, edge with black

Step 5:  Adhere the Garden Home to the red mat then to the card front near the lower right corner

Step 6:  Stamp the Cling Home Forever saying on a 1 1/2" x 2" piece of Mixed Media White Paper with Memento Tuxedo Black, stamp the pattern from the Industrial set with Rich Cocoa over the saying, color with Copic markers, edge with black

Step 7:   Use foam tape to add the saying near the upper left edge of the card

The sweet sentiment, Home Forever (H322), is gone from the Stampendous website now, but you can probably still find it at your favorite retail store or online store!
